First Solid!

Lilah was so excited to have her first food. She's been ready for a few weeks now. She was constantly eyeballing our food when we would eat. So, today I decided we'd give it a try. Lilah took to solid food like a champ. She was even trying to take the spoon from Daddy and feed herself! What a big girl!

The before pic...

Yay! She loves it! She was so excited for her next bite.

"Dad, I can feed myself!"

Lilah told me to post more pics for Grandma, so Grandma could see what a big lady she is. So, here they are...

Guess who has feet???

About a week or two ago, Lilah discovered her feet. Now, every time I change her diaper or clothes it's a bit of a struggle because all she wants to do is play with her feet. What a sweetie pie!

Oh, she can also sit up for a couple of seconds on her own now!

Just having fun!

Peek-a-boo

Lilah loves peek-a-boo! I was ducking down beside her crib and jumping up to give her a little scare. She absolutely loved it!

Mommy got a haircut!

So, yesterday I called Kevy and told her I wanted to chop my hair off, and she did it!

As some of you may know, my mom has been deployed to Germany for 6 months. I'm going to try and post often with a lot of pics of Lilah to keep her up to date on my little lady. Hopefully, these 6 months will go by fast. Lilah and I already miss her, and she's only been gone a week and a half.

My happy little bugger!

Help, Mom! My arm is out of control!!!

Today, Lilah was playing with her toy, and her arm looked like it was out of control. It was funny because she was watching her arm, and I could tell she was just as surprised as I was that it was going crazy. Eventually, she started to almost cry because she couldn't figure out how to make her arm stop. So, I just took the toy away before someone lost an eye.

Lilah is 5 months old!

My little girl is really growing up! She's becoming very vocal and is starting to get into things. She loves to laugh and pull at Mommy's face like it's a toy. Just today while Kevy was here, Lilah was pulling at my chin and lips so much that she left red marks on my face. Yeah, I probably should have stopped her, but she's just so darn cute!
